Welcome to A To Z On Mindfulness For Newbies
The eighth letter to be explored in A To Z on Mindfulness For Newbies is H. H is for Happiness.
Greater Good Magazine says “Happiness can be defined as “the experience of joy, contentment, or positive well-being, combined with a sense that one’s life is good, meaningful, and worthwhile.”
According to Wikipedia, “It’s a mental or emotional state of well-being which can be defined by, among others, positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy.
“Happiness can be defined as “the experience of joy, contentment, or positive well-being, combined with a sense that one’s life is good, meaningful, and worthwhile.”

As you all know, what happiness means can differ from one person to another. One may feel happy if they are healthy, the other may feel the joy while traveling a lot, some may be happy if they have more money. And yes, it differs from person to person.

Love your take on this. Yes, happiness can mean entirely different things for different people. The problem probably comes when it means different things for different people in the same relationship
Thanks, Roshan !!!
Undoubtedly Vasantha, family = happiness. How we take things for granted….. it is really the simple things in life that make us happy…. not the grand gestures or the fancy holidays.
So true.
Yes Happiness comes in any form and any time. Loved your clicks Vasantha 🙂

Thanks, dear.
Very well thought, Vasantha. Happiness is truly subjective. It’s mostly the small things that matter and give happiness.
Right, dear !!!
