This Mom’s Life series has gifted me with lovely friends in this blogosphere. Today I am having with me, my cute and adorable friend Deepali Soam of My Teeny Tot. Our friendship got watered through our Insta and WhatsApp group.
She’s a proud mom to two wonderful teeny tots! Before she embarked on her motherhood journey, she was working as a Chemistry Teacher. She’s currently enjoying her passion to write. She blogs about her experiences and learnings as a young mother on My Teeny Tot.

I am pleased to have Deepali for today’s guest post. More truthful words flow from her heart. Handing over to Deepali …..
Meet Ms. Deepali, Mom Blogger of My Teeny Tot
- What three words describe you as a mother?
Proud, Protective, Patient.
- What’s the parenting rule you never break?
I avoid getting into terrible arguments or discussions in front of my child. It can be terrifying to the child.
- And one rule you do break?
Electronic entertainment in control is not evil incarnate. I let my kids watch TV and I haven’t seen any terrible consequences to him watching TV.
- How do you spend time off for yourself?
I either talk to my Mom as she’s my stress buster or simply take a Coffee Mug & Kindle.
- What’s the best part of your day?
When my kids play together, when they smile and laughs, or when they say “love you mommy” – that is the best part about being a mom and that’s what makes my day best and worth living.
- What’s your favorite guilty pleasure?
My Phone 🙂 🙂 My phone is my fourth child after my husband and two pies. I feel guilty while using it all the time but the pleasure is way too much.
- What five things can always be found in your refrigerator?
Apples, Chocolates, Butter, Cucumber & Eggs.
- What words describe you as a wife and a mom?
- Do you have a family ritual that you love?
Yeah!! Our evening walks with kids. I either wear my little one or take her in the pram and the big boy discovers new games & mess daily.
- What are 3 best things you love to teach your child?
- Honesty
- Forgiveness & Compassion
- Courtesy and Respect
