The very precious gift for anyone is his / her mother. Motherhood is an amazing world to be explored always. I am a happy mother of 11-year-old son Mitesh. Being a mother for 11 years, I thought of writing this article “This MOM’s Life” – An interview type sharing of happy experienced mothers. The first of its kind is here.

  1. What three words describe you as a mother?

    Tough, Loving and caring

  2. What’s the parenting rule you never break?

    No leave for school for silly reasons

  3. And one rule you do break?

    Allowing to bed late, at sometimes

  4. How do you spend time off for yourself?

    Yoga, Books, Music

  5. What’s the best part of your day?

    When my hubby and my son enjoying my cooking. As I strongly believe, reaching one’s heart is through his tongue.

  6. What’s your favorite guilty pleasure?

    Talking, talking, talking always …

  7. What five things can always be found in your refrigerator?

    Milk, Fresh Vegetables, Tomato Sauce, Chillies, Ginger

  8. What words describe you as a wife and a mom?

    Wife – Supportive & Passionate Lover

    Mom – Loving & Encouraging

  9. Do you have a family ritual that you love?

    Celebrating every Diwali festival at our native place with nearly five families gathered for a grand gala

  10. What are 3 best things you love to teach your child?

    Kindness, courage, positive attitude

  1. I enjoyed your post!! I can relate to all of your responses and agree, the best way to anyone’s heart is through the tongue or stomach, as we say. I have four children, ages ranging from 3-8 years old.
    I too agree, no missing school for silly reasons and sometimes staying up a little late is okay. Great post!!!!

  2. I would describe myself as a mother the same way too! And I also do not allow my kids to skip skip for silly reasons. 😀
