Today’s lifestyle makes us forget to smile and laugh sometimes. This will certainly affect our next generation. As a parent, we have the responsibility to teach our kids about the value of smiling and benefits of laughing.

First, let us understand clearly the difference between a smile and laugh. Smiles are most often connected to a positive experience, while laughing is related to something unexpected, but not necessarily positive. Smiling is personal and laughing is public.

Humor is infectious and contagious. When laughter is shared, it binds people together and increases happiness and intimacy. Humor and laughter strengthen your immune system, boost your energy, reduces pain, and makes you free from stress.

Being happy gives you satisfaction. Man, who forgets to laugh is like an animal. Laughter reduces stress and have many other benefits.

12 Step Action Plan To Laugh Everyday

  1. Make a resolution to wear a smile on your face always…………  I never failed to wear a smile on my face even at hard times. My friends always say that your smile catches even strangers and I’m proud about that. After all, a smile costs nothing.
  2. Be more spontaneous – Smile while doing any work ….. There’s an old man named Krishnan near our home. I love seeing him  in our street during mornings. He is always active in spite of his old age. He always has a positive vibe around him.

  1. 100%agree.. laughing and smiling are very important. It makes us happy and helps us to forget all the negatives. Lovely post 🙂

  2. wonderful Vasantha! as always you have done your part to spread laughter! Laughing is very important to life and I agree totally with you on this. When I was in college I used to think why people need to go to laughter classes, didn’t laughter come naturally, however now I can feel that little space required to laugh unhindered and without any reservations.
