  1. What three words describe you as a mother?
Patience, forgiving and selflessness describe me as a mother.
  1. What’s the parenting rule you never break?

As a parent, I always stress on sharing whatever comes in the way and nothing is personal. In a family, you should always learn to adjust and overlook petty things.

  1. And one rule you do break?

One area where I fail is when I tell my daughter not to get irritated on small things but I find myself doing the same. Practicing to be quiet and not to react instantly.

  1. How do you spend time off for yourself?

Best time for myself is when kids are at school and I work hard to be productive. On weekends, when children sleep with their grandparents, I have time to read before sleep.

  1. What’s the best part of your day?
The best part of a working day is when I sleep in the afternoon with my kids. We all get up early and when they are at school, I also finish my freelance work. So this is the time I feel blessed to get some rest. Especially when my son lies down on my arm and sleep. On weekends, when kids are playing in the afternoon and I take a nap or read some book after lunch.

My favorite guilty pleasure is to have ice cream or Cadbury’s Dairy Milk full bar at one go.
  1. What five things can always be found in your refrigerator?
Five things in my refrigerator are Britannia cheese slice, pizza cheese, Pizza topping, curd, and dal ka atta.
  1. What words describe you as a wife and a mom?
As a wife and as a mom, I am well organized and efficient at delegating work to enjoy a peaceful life. I am also perseverant so that peace starts with me only.
  1. Do you have a family ritual that you love?

As a family, we explore new coffee shops and spend time in the mall while kids play. Me and my daughter shop books and the other two enjoy eating butter naan.

  1. What are the 3 best things you love to teach your child?
Three best things I would like to teach my kids are
  • Be respectful and kind to all irrespective of their class.
  • Learn to giveaway things to help others.
  • Be thankful for every breath you take.
