7 Everyday Practices For Mindful Moms : Day 5 – Be Mindful With Love – #BarAThon

Welcome to the fifth day of 7 Everyday Practices For Mindful Moms.

Being mindful was new to me before two years back. But when I happened to read posts Of Colleen, I was really impressed. She has two blogs – COLLEEN CHESEBRO ~ FAIRY WHISPERER  A MINDFUL JOURNEY. Both are awesome in its quality and content. Thanks to her for introducing Mindfulness to me at the right time. Then I started Mindful Monday posts on my blog too.

How many of you would love to improve your relationship? How many of you could love your family members unconditionally? How many of you practice being mindful with love?

Many of us are going through difficult times with limited finances, poor health, family issues, stressful work or societal frustrations, it can feel very difficult to find calm and clarity amidst all chaos.

Parenting is a roller coaster ride. You can enjoy the ride sometimes, you can go down one time and you will tend to get out of it sometime. Parenting is really hard without your unconditional love. Love makes the world go around. Love keeps us sane in the ups and downs of life waves. And it’s important for moms to be mindful with their love.

Practicing mindfulness enables you to calm down and soothe yourself. In mindful state,  you will thoughtfully reflect and respond, rather than react to any difficult situation.

Day 5 – Be Mindful With Love

Metta meditation, or Loving Kindness Meditation, is a method of developing compassion. Metta in Pali means benevolence, friendliness, good will, kindness, and love

It’s essentially about cultivating and sending love to yourself, to your loved ones, to your neighbor, to your enemy. and to the whole universe. It is sending loving wishes for ALL beings, including yourself, to be happy, healthy, safe, and loved.

Time Needed: 10 to 15 minutes.

Frequency: Everyday.

Simple Script For Loving Kindness Meditation:

Towards yourself

May I be happy
May I be healthy and strong
May I be at peace
May I feel loved and supported

Then towards your partner

May you be happy
May you be healthy and strong
May you be at peace
May you feel my love and support

Then towards your kids

May my son be happy
May he be healthy and strong
May he be at peace
May he feel my love

Then towards the family

May we be happy together
May we all stay healthy and strong
May we all be at peace
May we feel and share love together

To feel more love, repeat this often

The phrases on this script can be customized as your needs.

  1. Meditations is a peaceful way to energise your self and honestly its a great mode to detox your self from all negative energy.
I do have a meditation ritual I follow.

  2. More and more happiness & power to you!
You should totally have a tab on tutorial if you haven’t already related to writing tips!

  3. Your posts are so inspiring. Meditation is a very useful way to practice mindfulness. I try to meditate for a few minutes every day and I find myself at ease in those few minutes.

  4. REading your mindful posts makes me realise that if I catch just 2% of these…my life can be better. My idea of mindful love is …if you have a fight with your partner…keep it only for that moment …dont drag it for forever…
