Gratitude Turned What I Have Into Enough ….. #GratitudeCircleBlogHop #MyFriendAlexa

Gratitude unfolds the blessings. Gratitude gladden the heart. I have started a daily practice of gratitude a few years ago. At the end of each day, I write 3 things that I am grateful for. This very act of feeling gratitude increased the blessings in all areas of my life. Highlights of my gratitude moments for August 2017 :

…… Proud to be a part of One Week Blogging Challenge – WTFOW organised by Write Tribe from August 5 to August 11, 2017. And I successfully completed the challenge by writing for all the given prompts.

….. Very much delighted that my Insta has reached 500 followers and still counting. Also my blog got 500 likes on a single day. Thanks to all my readers – new and old.

…… Not to mention how much excited I would be on the day when my first article for We Are The World Blogfest got published.

…… Celebrated Krishna Jeyanthi, Aadi Iruthi and Vinayagar Chaturthi at my home. Festivals and Poojas help me to be sane and connect with inner self. It also help us to teach the values and richness of our traditions to our younger generations.

….. Recognition and appreciation for our hard efforts will sure be an encouragement to do more in future. Feeling happy that my blog got SEO B Grade with a score of 65 and Alexa Rank of 15,37,906 . My post “The Resource That keeps Me Grounded” got featured on #QuotedStories.

….. Encouragement from a fellow blogger friend has fueled my thought on starting a new group for blogging tips and tricks. Thanks Surbhi for this high hopes on me. This may happen very soon.

….. Happy to reach the hearts of my family members through mouth-watering, home-made snacks. Reached my man’s heart through his tummy. You can watch My Cooking Delights here.

….. This month too got many new cute additions to Our Home Sweet Home. Keeping the home beautiful and serene is an art. And I would love to qualify with masters in that art. I have to really appreciate my hubby for being thoughtful and creative to buy many little things that add more beauty to our collections.

….. We had our regular annual eye checkup for my son at Madurai. It’s a really painful moment for me as a mom to see him struggle for many painful retina tests. This time it was more heart breaking for me on hearing his power has hiked up than last time. But I am grateful that his retinal weakness can be treated with minor laser surgery hopefully next year. Praying god for good and clear vision for me and my son.

…. Unexpected long weekend gifted us with unplanned family meets. We had a great nostalgic chit chats that extended up to 4 am. Though our town Kovilpatti is a small town, we had some exciting outings for Cafe Coffee Day, Temple and Restaurant.

And I thank Almighty for gracing me with His love, blessings and affection in all my tough times.
