7 Women Bloggers Celebrating Their Mothers On This Mother’s Day

I was a Computer Professor. My experience as a professor for past 16 years taught me many lessons. But I resigned my job during 2012 to look after my family since my hubby went to South Africa for his job. These 5 years had given me more life lessons and sweet memories than those 16 years of career life. Yes, really being a mother is more close to my heart. Motherhood is an awesome journey where your destination is not so important but the whole journey is. I really enjoy every aspect of being a mother. Blogging has taught me consistent learning on various dimensions of motherhood. Thanks go to my 13 years old intelligent but too naughty son. I love to spend quality time with him like helping in project works, bed time chit chats, teaching him the life values and so on. Really I am able to recognize the positive changes in his discipline and behavior due to my presence with him when he really needs. I also learned so many things from him such as generosity, kindness, cool and being techy. Thanks Mithu for all that you have brought into my life. Also being a mommy blogger, I learned many life lessons and stories from my fellow blogger friends.

She is a voracious reader, e-book author, devoted coffee-drinker, avid thinker and a fashion lover who has a huge collection of bags. Music is her passion and you can find her writing most of the time. She is extremely friendly, helpful and a happy person. She accepts bouquets and brickbats on her writings. She Says,

” Born in Tirupati, raised and educated Andhra Pradesh and Chennai, marriage bought her to Delhi and now she resides in Hyderabad; I would like to introduce you to my mother. Her name is Prema and she is 60 years. Her looks disprove her age as most people are fooled into thinking that she is 10 years younger often considered to be my sister. She is the one who stood behind me on my positive decisions in life and faced me on the negative ones. She is super friendly, she knows everything about me the tweets I write, about all my friends (online and offline), the books I read and review, the articles I post on the blog. She reads all the pieces I keep scribbling. Ma was the only person that believed in my dream to be the best that I could be in writing. I wanted it more than anything in the world at the time, but had absolutely no promise. If she had not supported me in my passion (writing) since I first wanted to become a writer at the age of 13, I would not have won many awards, titles, contests and earned fame as a recognized writer/editor/blogger/book reviewer. Ma, wish you have the happiness you deserve and you know this already, but I’ll tell you again: you are always in my heart. I love you to the sky and back.”

If not for my mom, there wouldn’t have been Vidhya’s Veg Kitchen, and if not for my kiddo I wouldn’t have explored IMC. I learn a lot from my mother and learning a lot being a mother”.
