When I decided to participate in second edition of BarAThon, I was thinking whether to go for theme seven or to go for the given prompts. And finally made a decision to go for theme seven since I wrote for the given prompts in my first edition of BarAThon. So my theme for second edition of BarAthon is 7 Everyday Practices For Mindful Moms.
What is Being Mindful or Mindfulness?
Being Mindful or Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way;
in the present moment, and
Mindful or Mindfulness is being aware of present moment without any judgement or hard feelings. Cultivating the practice of mindfulness can be a powerful way to train our minds and tune into the beauty of here and now.
Mindfulness is the current buzzword around the web. And it’s getting viral than anything else now. But that is not the reason for my decision. As you all know, word of the year, I chose for 2017 was Mindful. So its more than a justification for my word choice.

Why everyday practices?
Any new habit can yield its best results only if practiced everyday. So here I am going to give you 7 everyday practices that are simple yet powerful ones. All these practices were self tested and proven ones. Hope you will enjoy this mindful journey with me.
Mindfulness is almost needed for all – moms, parents, kids, teens, teachers. And I chose mindfulness for moms since they are the vital backbone of a family. If moms love being mindful, then it becomes easy to inculcate the habit of being mindful to kids and others. Moms are super moms too, when they are mindful moms.
